Die letzten Tage des vergangenen Jahres habe ich wieder auf der ASI Scandinavia convention verbracht. Diesmal waren wir in Vejle, Dänemark. Tatsächlich dort, wo ich schon 2019 als Matteson-Schüler war.

Mit den Gedanken der Andachten und persönlicher Gespräche hat es mich bewegt ein paar Zeilen zu dichten, die ich mit euch teilen möchte. Es geht darum das alte Jahr mit seinen ganzen Fehlern und Schwierigkeiten zurück zu lassen und neu zu beginnen, eine neue Seite anfangen. Es ist am Ende ein Lied geworden welches ich bei Gelegenheit noch anfügen kann, wenn ich es ordentlich aufnehme. Aber zumindest den Text wollte ich schon reinstellen.

A new Page

I’m looking back, it’s quite a big pile,
Crumbled pages, written with no style.
I threw them away, they are no good.
What shall I do? Yes one thing I should:

And I’m turning the page, starting anew.
What shall I write there? What shall I do?

I try write it fancy, start with a great word.
And soon get the second, manage the third.
But then I am stumbling, nothing goes right.

Next time more careful, give it a thought.
Some rational thinking, how I have been taught.
